Nightmare Night is a holiday based on the mythology on Nightmare Moon and the legend that, on this particular night, she comes down from the night sky to terrorize ponies over Equestria. This year's Nightmare Night will be held on 2014-10-28. It is pretty much identical to Halloween. Example of Nightmare Night Costumes:
